Following the steps of Yellow, Crystal, and Emerald, Platinum is a well done remake of Diamond/Pearl. Improvements and changes include the new Global Terminal (which replaced the GTS), WiFi Plaza, Distortion World as well as a few new gyms and altered cities. In Platinum, the "central" legendary Pokémon is Giratina, and it comes with a lovely new form! (called the "Origin" form) After you have defeated the Elite 4, you are able to obtain the Griseous Orb back in the Distortion World, an item that Giratina can wield to convert to the Origin Giratina. This form of the legendary Pokémon has different stats that can be noted. Another Pokémon that can change form now is Shaymin, another legendary that you could obtain from a special Toys R Us event. Shaymin now has a sky form, and can be changed by the Gracidiea. Unlike the Origin Giratina, Shaymin can be in sky form only in the daytime. Anyways, it probably would be better of you to take a look at the links included.
